Endocrinologist - Treatment Cost
Hormonal Health Specialist Centre is a private service provider. Typically payment in full is expected at the time of the appointment. The practice will lodge a claim on some of the fees back from Medicare if patients have a referral letter from their GP or another specialist provider.
Specialist Medical - Report
Following your appointment with the Endocrinologist, your referring Doctor will be sent a comprehensive report. You will also receive a copy of this report, which will be password protected by email, we advise you to download this report and store it in a secure location, as it will no longer be accessible 30 days following your appointment.
Should you require another copy of this report after it has been sent to you, there will be a $30 administrative fee to resend the letter after you have provided us with your signed consent to allow the practice to release your confidential information back to you via email or any other means.

Repeat Scripts

Online - Video Appointments
It is recommended that you obtain your repeat scripts from your GP. We would encourage you to regularly see your GP in-between your specialist appointments.
If it is not possible to see your GP for the script, repeat scripts can be requested by telephone or email with a fee of $20 for the medication.
Please allow at least 1 - 3 days for requests to be processed.

You're required to pay the total cost at the time of your consultation, where applicable Medicare rebates are lodged following your appointment, reducing your out-of-pocket expense.
Medicare Rebates not applicable if you are overseas at the time of a TeleHealth Appointment.
Please Note, MBS Rebate amounts are declared as Estimates Only, please confirm with Medicare Directly as amounts may change from time to time.

PAYMENTS & MEDICARE REBATES
In Person Appointments
- In Person appointments you will be required to pay in full on the day, after your appointment is completed, this is done via EFTPOS, so ensure you have your physical card or ability to pay from your phone.
- Following full payment, you will receive a receipt from the Terminal and you may also receive a physical invoice from your consultation before you leave or sent to you via email.
- The office will process any medicare claims on your behalf, following your upfront payment medicare is notified, and as long as you have a valid referral your claim will be submitted. It normally takes up to 48 hours for medicare to apply rebate and deposit into your account, if you are unable to locate it may be that medicare requires some information, if in any doubts please e-mail or call our office for assistance and notification.
TeleHealth Appointments
- Telehealth appointments are video appointments.
- Medicare Rebate's subject to your eligibility (Not applicable if your are overseas at the time of your appointment).
- Shortly after booking a telehealth appointment you will be sent via an email your invoice to pay (this is prior to your appointment day).
- Medicare Rebates will be sent on your behalf.
- You are required to pay in full at least 24hrs prior to your appointment (Invoices are sent via email prior to your appointment).
- If you need to adjust your appointment you can do so via the online booking link. If you wish to cancel please email or call our office, our policy is we will re-imburse you in full if you're unable to make or need to cancel appointment, we just ask you contact us as soon as possible to make this time available for other patients.
- On the Day (only minutes prior to your appointment) you will be sent the Telehealth Video link. If you need to call or email the office to confirm the link, please do so.

- Directly behind the building 2hr timed (free) parking. Be aware fines apply if you go over time.
